Collector's piece. 1980's vintage Boucherouite tribal rag rug from the Azilal region (High Atlas). Rich in artistry and tribal motifs, this is a highly collectible and special rug being near-square in proportion with an unusual abstract design. Blue, purple, red, orange with multi-coloured flecks throughout and natural off-white areas. The red and blue on a natural background is very synonymous with Azilal rugs. It features a natural flat weave section to one end and coloured tassels to the other.

A stunning example of this Berber tribe's weaving. Very unusual in its design and incredibly striking.
