A rare and visually graphic 1980’s Boucherouite rug from the Ourika Valley in the High Atlas Mountains. All-over, multicolour rectangular check pattern with vertical white, yellow and green lines running through the centre. Red and green bands to each edge. Bright and bold in design, it’s surprisingly modern looking for its age.
