An unusual handwoven Azilal rug dated circa 1990. A rug of two halves. One half, woven in wool, with an irregular rectangular check pattern of natural wool, brown and orange. The other half, multi-coloured recycled textile rags (similar to Boucherouite rag rugs). This unexpected mixed weave technique makes it very special and unsual.
