Boucherouite rug in a riot of colour – pink, purple, blue, orange and yellow with an abstract bright pink diamond just off-centre. Dated 1990’s, this piece comes from the Boujad region in the Mid Atlas Mountains. A wonderful Moroccan Berber rug with long, mismatched tassels to one end. Vintage Boucherouite rugs like this are surprisingly uncommon – handwoven with 100% recycled textiles, they were made for domestic use within the weaver’s own home.
