Handwoven in natural, undyed, sheep’s wool, this Berber rug is wonderfully cosy and soft underfoot being 4cm thick. Perfect for those who love simple and quirky tribal designs. Old pieces like these were made for domestic use to warm the home during the bitter cold winter months. Berbers often sleep on these thick pile Moroccan rugs, hence them being called sleeping carpets.
