“Marquise” is an electric pink, shaggy 1980’s Boujad with irregular diamond pattern (almost animal print like) in dark blue with bright orange. This is the definition of statement piece – definitely not for the faint hearted. This vibrant rug has a very graphic and quirky bold design, very unusual for the area it comes from. A very progressive female weaver demonstrating her artistic vision.
