A very striking vintage Azilal rug from the late 1980's or early 1990's*. This is an exceptionally longer runner rug – handwoven to fit within traditional Moroccan architecture for the weaver’s own domestic use. This piece will need a very large, or very long, space to make a statement.

This runner is a traditional Azilal rug with its natural wool background and abstract tribal zigzag design in natural dark blackish wool. The zigzags are interspersed with the occasional brightly coloured dot giving it playfulness and modernity. An absolutely delightful Berber rug and one of our buyer’s personal favourites.
